1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Seerty, the online resume builder available at seerty.com (the "Service"), operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Seerty is a free online resume builder. It lets you create, edit, and export resumes by starting from scratch, choosing a template, or importing an existing resume (including LinkedIn and PDF imports with AI-assisted extraction). Your work is saved automatically to your account.

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

3. Accounts

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your password confidential;
  • all activity that occurs under your account; and
  • ensuring the information you provide (including your email address and full name) is accurate and up to date.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You may not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing limits of the Service (for example, to obtain additional free exports), impersonate another person, or register accounts in bulk.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload, store, or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, or infringes the rights of others;
  • upload malicious code, viruses, or content designed to disrupt the Service;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
  • scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Service in an automated manner;
  • interfere with the operation of the Service, including by abusing rate limits or submitting excessive automated requests;
  • use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law, including the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the resumes and other content you create or upload to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, to save your work, render previews, and generate exports).

You are solely responsible for Your Content, including its accuracy and lawfulness. You confirm that you have the right to use any content you import or upload, and that it does not contain confidential information of third parties that you are not authorized to share.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we do not sell or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Free Tier and Paid Features

New accounts start with 1 free export. An export is one PDF download of a resume. Additional exports and other paid features may be offered from time to time. Prices, allowances, and plan terms are displayed on the pricing page and may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of changes that affect you.

Payments for paid features are processed by third-party payment providers. By purchasing, you agree to the provider's terms. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and the provider's policies.

7. Referral Program

Accounts receive a personal referral code. When someone registers using your code, you may earn referral benefits as described on the Service. We may change, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time. Referral codes may not be used for spam, bulk solicitation, or self-referral abuse.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, templates, text, graphics, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted. You may use the templates and tools provided by the Service to create your own resumes, including for commercial purposes.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time, which removes your account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation would create a risk to the Service or other users. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of the reason. You may lose access to Your Content as a result of termination; we encourage you to export your resumes regularly.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that exports will be accepted by any particular employer, institution, or applicant tracking system.

Resumes you create with the Service are your own responsibility. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service, including job applications or interviews.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 50 Jordanian Dinars, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or a notice on the Service). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan.
